AS A DERMATOLOGIST...

I strive to protect myself from the damaging effects of sunlight, including wrinkles, loss of skin hydration, and skin cancer. After having fatigue and bone pain, my own doctor checked my vitamin D levels and I was very low. You see, your body normally makes vitamin D when you are exposed to sunlight. When we wear sunscreens and sun protective clothing, we may not make enough.

Like many women, I had a hard time remembering to take the many pills that were needed to get my vitamin D levels back up. As some of my other loves in life are chocolate and cooking, I had the inspiration to create these delicious chocolates to help women everywhere who were having the same problem.
